Dr. Michael Maline is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has been caring for patients in Northwest Arkansas since 2011. His practice encompasses comprehensive orthopedic care, with particular expertise in hip and knee reconstruction, joint replacement, sports medicine, and fracture care.

Dr. Maline believes exceptional orthopedic care begins with taking the time to truly understand the person behind the injury or diagnosis. He listens carefully to each patient's concerns, goals, lifestyle, and expectations before recommending a treatment plan. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, he works collaboratively with his patients to determine the treatment that makes the most sense for them—whether that means physical therapy and other nonsurgical options, injections, or surgery.

His surgical expertise includes minimally invasive anterior total hip replacement and total knee replacement, along with the treatment of sports-related injuries and orthopedic conditions in both adults and children. When surgery is appropriate, Dr. Maline takes the time to explain the procedure, what patients can expect, and what recovery will look like at every stage.

Dr. Maline earned his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Christian University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, before earning his medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.

After more than a decade serving Northwest Arkansas, Dr. Maline continues to believe that the best orthopedic care is personal. His goal is not simply to treat an injury or replace a joint, but to understand what matters most to each patient and help them make informed decisions about their care.
