Christopher Dougherty
D.O., C.A.Q.S.M.
Dr. Dougherty is one of the most experienced physicians worldwide in meniscus repair and minimally invasive rotator cuff repairs, as well as joint preservation surgery. He is the only surgeon in the area that performs hip labral repairs.
Dr. Dougherty is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, with a sub-specialty training in sports medicine. He received his Bachelor's from the University of Missouri, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Upon graduation he completed his residency at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dr. Dougherty has been practicing since 2003 and in Northwest Arkansas since 2006, where he is a Team Physician for the Kansas City Royals and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
He has been caring for professional athletes since 2008, performed the most all-inside meniscus repairs in the world, pioneered cartilage replacement surgery in the hip, and performed the most advanced hip arthroscopy in the US.
