Education and Training: Originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, Dr. Morris completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College, where he graduated with honors. Prior to entering medical school, he completed a Fulbright Research Fellowship in Uruguay. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Colorado.

Following medical school, Dr. Morris completed orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, Kansas. Following residency, he completed two fellowships, one at Harvard University Massachusetts General Hospital and one at the University of Kansas Health System. These fellowships further solidified his expertise in orthopedic sports medicine and orthopedic foot and ankle surgery. Through his sports medicine fellowship, Dr. Morris also gained valuable experience in caring for professional and collegiate athletes through his training program affiliation with the University of Kansas, the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs.

 

Clinical Expertise: Dr. Morris specializes in arthroscopic and minimally invasive orthopedic sports medicine and foot and ankle surgery to address disorders of the shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. He has training and experience in advanced procedures, such as hip arthroscopy and labral repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, shoulder arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, ankle arthroscopy, and minimally invasive Achilles tendon repair. When indicated, Dr. Morris also has experience with shoulder and knee replacement. His clinical approach emphasizes patient-centered care and utilizing the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery to ensure optimal outcomes for his patients.

Dr. Morris is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) and has achieved additional distinction from the ABOS by earning a certificate of added qualification in orthopedic sports medicine. Dr. Morris is also fluent in Spanish.
