With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Dr. James Boyle, beloved physician, co-worker and friend. His bold personality has forever left a mark on the Agility Center. We honor his memory by continuing to support his patients, helping them transition, and carrying through with the excellent care he was so passionate about.
Dr. James Boyle was a board certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Cell & Molecular Biology from Cornell University, his Doctor of Medicine degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, and his Medical Residency from Albany Medical Center. He went on to receive his Fellowship from University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. He has researched and published articles on spine surgery, bone tumors, and measuring radiographs on the lower extremities.
His carer began in Joplin just before the 2011 tornado where he was involved with many patients recovering from storm-related injuries. He was also involved in several Joplin area school sports programs as Team Physician.
